Delete Your Account

You can delete your Synq account and the data linked to it at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

Delete from inside the app

Signing in is optional in Synq — the app works fully offline. If you did sign in to sync across devices, you can delete your account directly in the app:

  • Open Synq and go to the Account screen (Settings → Account).
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm. Your account and its synced data are permanently removed from our servers.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the data we hold for that account:

  • Your account profile — email address, display name, and account ID.
  • Synced listening history (track title, artist, album, and play time).
  • Synced equalizer (EQ) profiles.

This data is deleted within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal or financial compliance.

What is not affected

  • Your music files and any data stored only on your device — Synq never uploads your audio files.
  • The app keeps working offline after deletion; you can sign in again anytime to start a fresh account.

Can't access the app?

If you can't sign in to delete your account yourself, email us from the address linked to your account and we'll delete it for you within 30 days:
